Hazardous Waste

Hazardous waste is a byproduct of our industrialized society. Many laws operate to limit and restrict hazardous waste emissions by regional industries. When companies and industries fail to obey the law, workers, consumers and people who live near affected sites can suffer to consequences.

Federal laws that protect consumers against hazardous waste claims include:

  • Resource Conservation and Recovery Act
  • Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (Superfund)
  • Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act
  • Safe Drinking Water Act
  • Federal Water Pollution Act
  • Toxic Substances Control Act

Under many of these laws and other laws, individuals, employees and families who have been exposed to hazardous waste and who have suffered personal illness or injury or property damage or loss of value may have the right to obtain legal damages and remedies for their injury.  Hazardous waste contamination and exposure can cause a wide variety of illnesses and other damages.

If you have any questions, or feel you may have a case involving hazardous waste, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-849-5291 or use this convenient form.
